In order to accomplish the mission of producing one million tonnes by 2010 Hindustan Zinc has announced its projects, after completion of these projects Hindustan Zinc will become one of the largest integrated zinc producer in the world.

Sindesar Khurd Mine expansion from 0.30 million tonnes per annum to 1.50 million tonnes per annum
Opening of a new mine at Kayar with an initial capacity of 0.30 million tonnes per annum.
